Olkeri was the name of our tented camp. It was lovely and all the staff were super friendly and professional. We could hear elephants and lions passing by at night!

We went Kenya for a week. I took many photos of many wild animals and wild birds. We stayed Kenya a four-days. In Swahili, leopard is OL KERI. Our hotel's name was OL KERI. .... Read more on Kokoro's Diary

The service is absolutely firstclass. The staff, guides, drivers, camp staff including the manager always made sure that we were well looked after from the early morning tea outside our tent to dinner in the evening. The tents were large and well equipped, food was good and tasty and they also provided picnic lunch when we had a full day in the reserve. The guide/driver was very good at spotting those and also knows how to get the best possible angle for taking good pictures.Thank you Olkeri Mara Camp for the wonderful stay.

My wife and I enjoyed five very pampered nights at Mara West last month. I was a little concerned what being in a tent would be like, but it was more of a tented chalet than a camping experience - complete with flushing toilet and hot shower. The chef, prepared wonderful Kenyan, Thai, Indian, and Continental cuisine. I had the best hamburger I've tasted.Olkeri Mara provided a very knowledgable and gracious driver for our safari treks into the park. We found the best schedule was to go out early in the morning (park opens at 6:30) to see some big cats on the hunt. We were packed for very nice picnic breakfast to eat on the savannah. We went back to the camp for lunch and a rest before heading back to the park for a 4:00 to 6:30 (closing time) drive - another good time to catch game on the move.It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and the accomodations and staff at Olkeri Mara did much to make it excellent.
